Opeyemi Marcellina Aderinto is a highly accomplished communications, international relations, and community development professional with more than a decade of experience in leadership, youth empowerment, peacebuilding, public relations, and social impact initiatives. She is dedicated to advancing sustainable development, strengthening communities, and creating opportunities for young people and underserved populations.
As the Executive Director of the African Centre for Human Advancement, Social and Community Development (ACHASCOD), Opeyemi leads programs focused on community empowerment, social inclusion, capacity building, and youth engagement. She also plays key leadership roles in regional and international organizations, fostering collaboration, partnership, and development across Africa and beyond.
Holding a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Mass Communication along with advanced qualifications in journalism and communications, Opeyemi combines academic excellence with practical experience in strategic communications, advocacy, stakeholder engagement, and project management. Throughout her career, she has worked with government institutions, international organizations, civil society groups, and youth networks to promote peacebuilding, social cohesion, and community development.
